Consultant Job Description: The Client Group Technology Project Manager is responsible for providing project management expertise to a strategic department-wide program to transition the fund data regulatory reporting process from one vendor (State Street) to a new vendor (BBH) in partnership with the Global Fund Administration team. The project manager will partner closely with stakeholders in the Client Group (RFP, Marketing Operations, and Business Development, among others) to ensure that security level fund reporting data is available for monthly factsheet production, marketing materials (including the websites), and for client inquiries and RFP automation. Other uses of the data should be documented by the project manager as well. A person in this role is expected to deepen the collaboration and partnership between the Client Group and the various technology teams (data & analytics, web, digital marketing, etc who are all stakeholders in this transformational effort. Specific responsibilities include but are not limited to: Join and contribute to regular project working group meetings in collaboration with Client Group Business Development and Global Fund Administration Lead the collection of Client Group business requirements, process flows, data analysis, and other work to detail scope, impact, and so on Drive project execution, escalate and facilitate resolution of key risks and issues Triage issues (defects / bugs) with the project team(s) to ensure alignment with the defined requirements and providing responses to issues as well as keeping documentation up to date. Update and share monthly project update materials with Client Group Technology, Client Group, and other firm stakeholders. Create and maintain ongoing relationships with all business and technology stakeholders, including vendors Produce clear, concise, accurate written communication, clearly conveying thoughts and ideas to peers, management, and internal clients. Identify areas of opportunity to innovate, streamline, or be more efficient as an organization Maintain well organized project documents via Confluence, SharePoint, JIRA, or other Standard business analysis responsibilities including but not limited to: Gather and define business and technology requirements for new and existing technology tools Perform and summarize data analysis to support business requirements Measure project progress thru tools available internally Report and escalate risks and issues as appropriate Provide guidance to write and execute test cases for new tools and reports; manage UAT where appropriate Communicate project scope, goals, status, etc. to stakeholders Provide training and ongoing local support to business users as required Qualifications, Experience, and Education: Bachelor's degree required, in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business or related field 4+ years of professional project management experience, particularly Agile methodologies Experience in asset management, financial, client or regulatory fund reporting, fund accounting, or similar Exposure to the lifecycle of trading, accounting, performance and risk, and reporting are a plus Knowledge and understanding of derivatives, futures, bonds and stock are a plus Highly proficient in Excel and other Microsoft products Experience with JIRA, Confluence, or other standard project management tools Technical data skills, such as SQL, excel VBA coding, or similar
