Title: ArcGIS Developer
Location: Houston, TX (Remote/ Onsite)
Duration: 12+ months contract
GIS Developer Responsibilities:
Initial projects will be migrating on prem to the Cloud and Unifiy Maximo
50% support 50% new development
Responsible for performing full software lifecycle process support.
Includes analysis, design, coding, testing, and maintenance of GIS web services, web-based applications, and desktop solution.
GIS Developer Required Skills and Experience:
Strong ESRI GIS development experience is mandatory. No certs required
.NET exp secondary importance
They need a very experienced person
Python exp very important vs Oracle or Desktop exp.
They want a problem solver
Must be strong in the dual disciplines of GIS and .Net software development.
Developer is proficient in .Net development integrated with ESRI's Arc Objects and ArcGIS Server to develop enterprise applications.
Additional skills include SQL Server, ArcGIS desktop, Oracle, geospatial processing and python.
ArcGIS Developer Desired Skills:
Bachelor's degree preferred
Pipeline exp. nice to have but not required
