Job Title: Application Developer (A e Experience Manager)
SCOPE OF SERVICES
The CONSULTANT will be responsible for collecting requirements, designing and developing enhancements or modifications to A e Experience Manager (AEM) Software suit. The consultant must be adept at providing technical services in implementation, configuration, development and support for the AEM. The CONSULTANT will be responsible for custom development of components, modules, applications and building integrations to other systems using the AEM development tool set, as well as modification to existing interfaces and custom objects. The consultant must have extensive working experience in Web Content Management with AEM.
Responsibilities include:
• Working with team members in creating best-in-class web experiences through AEM
• Designing and developingof effective, sustainable, and reliable websites and web applications
• Developing the component model that will serve both web and mobile solutions using AEM
• Partnering with business stakeholders, authors, and to enable efficient website management
• Participating in a team-based scrum development environment.
• Working with project managers to ensure that all project deliverables are on time and high quality
• Employing strong coding standards for efficiency, readability, and reuse
• Correcting of defects identified through unit testing or through quality assurance team member testing.
• Assisting in deploying applications to Dev, QA, Production environments
• Documenting software designs, applications support requirements, application configuration information, as required
Project Role & Responsibilities
a. The City Project Manager will be responsible for guiding overall project management while the CONSULTANT will be responsible for managing the day to day activities and tasks necessary to complete each project phase.
b. The City will provide applications, subject matter experts, and other resources that will work with the vendor team.
c. The CONSULTANT shall lead the design/planning workshops.
d. The CONSULTANT shall provide documentation of all activities and work products to the City throughout the project life cycle.
e. The CONSULTANT shall specify and provide comprehensive, proven end-user training and training materials, if necessary.
f. The CONSULTANT shall raise any staffing or logistic issues with the City Project Manager.
g. The CONSULTANT shall escalate any changes to the scope of work or issues that will impact the completion of work to the City Project Manager immediately.
h. The CONSULTANT shall attend daily/weekly project status meetings.
