Title : APIGEE Engineer
Location: SFO, CA /Charlotte, NC (Day 1 Onsite)
Duration: 12 Months + Extension
Job Description:
• 10+ years in the IT development of which the last 5+ years in API development.
• 4+ years as API (Apigee desired) tech lead with clear understanding of API product and development practices.
• 2+ years architecting or engineering and designing API-based (Apigee preferred) engagements.
• Apigee certified professional highly desired.
• Google Cloud Platform experience REQUIRED, with certifications as a desirable
• Strong knowledge of security aspects of Apigee not limiting to 2 way TLS, trust stores, OAuth 2.0 integrations and SAML Integration.
• Strong knowledge on API Patterns and be able to setup guidelines for the engineering team to develop on patterns.
• Experience with CICD tools like Jenkins, Chef, Git, SONAR
• Expertise in developing tooling required to automate processes.
• Experience in implementing solutions using Apigee Extensions.
• Experience in TDD - specifically implementing TDD/BDD for API components
• Understanding of microservices architecture to conceptualize overall API solutions, a plus.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science
