API/Web Services Developer

The API/Web Service Developer will build the web services, APIs, and database management logic that provides the framework upon which our front-end and third-party solutions integrate back into our core systems.
This role will be working on building scalable, responsive and highly available web-services. Responsibilities will include all the phases of Web Services development, from architecture design and technology selection to implementation and deployment.
These services will require partnership with our internal technology teams and external third-party providers to integrate to their solutions.

Design and craft APIs that developers love to build upon.
Work as part of a highly collaborative team to plan and design new APIs
Build large-scale high-volume APIs that are efficient and cost effective
Explore new ways to process and combine data sets and visualizations, that enable our customers to build innovative products which add business value.
Requirements
Deep understanding and development of Web APIs / HTTP / REST / JSON / REST API development.
Capable of troubleshooting common database issues
Strong proficiency with SQL and its variation among popular databases
Experience with some of the modern relational databases
BS degree in computer science or related field, equivalent experience
Web fundamentals like HTML, JavaScript, and CSS
Database technologies like MySQL, Oracle, PostgreSQL, and SQL Server
Preferences:
Experience working with Adobe Enterprise Platform
Experience working with Drupal Platform
Experience working with open CMS
