Job Description:
Strong knowledge of Android SDK, Android Studio, different versions of Android, and how to deal with different screen sizes
Strong knowledge of Android UI design principles, patters and best practices
Experience with offline storage, threading, and performance tuning
Good to have knowledge of versioning tools - Git, SVN or bitbucket
Familiarity with RESTful APIs to connect iOS applications to back-end services
Knowledge of the open-source Adnroid ecosystem and the libraries available for common tasks
Familiarity with cloud message APIs and push notifications
Experience with benchmarking and optimization
Understanding of Google’s Android design principles and interface guidelines
