Job Title: ALIP Integration Developer Duration: 06+ Months Location: Des Moines, IA Job Description: Professional experience of 6-12+ years in Java software development Insurance Domain Skills a. Good understanding of the Annuity / Life insurance Domain preferably worked with US Financial Services and/or Insurance Companies or Package Vendor companies on the applications / processes pertaining to New Business, Underwriting, Policy Administration, Claims, Data & Reporting, Analytics, Actuarial etc. b. Experience in Insurance Business Processes such as New Business, Payment processing Insurance Vendor Package Working Experience / Skills a. Knowledge of ALIP (Accenture Life Insurance Platform) or Navisys (Home Office & Front Office) b. Experience in developing real-time inbound & outbound integrations with ALIP c. Experience in ALIP Integration Workbench d. Experience in SOAP, REST and JMS Queue integration patterns used in ALIP e. Experience of ACORD XML standards for Life & Annuities (e.g. TxLife 103, 302, 203, 508) Technology Awareness: a. Spring Integration framework b. Scripting languages such as Java Script, Groovy Script & Python Script c. XML & XSLT d. Java/J2EE e. Understanding of Content management & Workflow systems Experience in Test case creating and testing Ability to conduct walkthroughs, workshops and meetings Solution evaluation, Analytical, Problem Solving and People Management skills are preferred
