Responsibilities:
· The Systems Admin will support and manage all aspects of planning, configuring, deploying, supporting, and decommissioning AIX systems.
· Admin will assist with integration with other Enterprise software utilized by the organization.
· Admin will assist with Quality Assurance for the section in the delivery of systems and applications, provide Problem Resolution assistance.
· The Systems Admin includes support for the distributed hosting section in providing statewide services located at datacentres and remote sites in an Enterprise scale environment with high growth rates and state wide responsibilities.
· The Systems Admin will assist in designing and architecting infrastructure solutions and providing incident response with high customer satisfaction. This is a 24x7x365 shop and there is an on-call rotation with potential for after-hours support needs.
