Job Role: Workday compensation Analyst

Work Location: San Ramon, CA

Contract duration (in months): 12+

Job Description:

The successful candidate will have the opportunity to play a role in implementing Workday compensation solutions in support of HR business. The HRI project is an enterprise-wide transformation effort to move Chevron HR ERP solutions (SAP HCM, JDE HCM) to the cloud. The project is being executed in partnership with HR process owners using cross functional HR and IT project teams. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work collaboratively with HR business analysts and functional analysts to deliver compensation solutions. Assignments will range from delivering all process design deliverables of a small and/or large population to meet complex work streams enterprise wide.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
(Responsibilities for this position may include but are not limited to)
Provides an understanding of Workday compensation business processes as a subject matter expert. Consults in partnership with other IT and HR staff to guide and identify solution alternatives to the Enterprise HR community.
Designs and enhances Workday compensation processes to utilize the business value of Workday capabilities.
Participates in implementing Workday Compensation functionality across the HR landscape in collaboration with Chevron Compensation Subject Mater Experts and Solutions Architects, and the Chevron selected System Integrators.
o Assesses business processes and requirements
o Designs new/revised business processes to meet business requirements in alignment with the global design
o Defines Workday processes to meet business process requirements
o Coordinates with other teams for complete systems and user testing scenarios.
Responsible to ensure functionality and technology meets business process requirements; detail.
Provides input and functional knowledge of the overall Workday compensation product through final deployment.
Helps business process owners with training materials.
Organizes own efforts with other HRI teams to best support the HR function.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Experienced Workday Compensation Analyst with 5+ years of working knowledge of Workday HR Compensation package & planning.
10+ years of consulting or relevant work experience
Experience designing and implementing Workday Compensation solutions globally.
Experience aiding business and user adoption of HCM process.
Experience facilitating group discussions sessions.
Strong problem solving and practical analytical skills.
Strong communications and interpersonal skills.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Workday Compensation Certified.
Familiarity with Workday HR processes beyond compensation.
Strong organization and facilitation skills.
Specific knowledge of SAP-HR ERP related business processes and technologies, and/or knowledge of JDE-HR would be a plus.

RELOCATION OPTIONS:
Relocation will not be considered within Chevron parameters.
