Job Description :
Overview
St. Jude is anticipating a Windows System Administrator II position in the coming months. The System Administrator II is responsible for the design, test and configuration of various endpoints. This person will utilize strong analytical and troubleshooting skills to diagnose and resolve hardware, software or other system issues. Assists in the coordination, direction, or execution of system and/or network installations, configurations, and modifications. Plans and carries out Systems Team planning activities. Tracks assigned systems or network components for purposes of performance tuning and capacity planning. Establishes and revises systems or network administration and operations policies and procedures to ensure efficiency, effectiveness and security. Supports disaster recovery (DR) software, hardware, policies, and procedures.
Minimum Education

Bachelor''s degree required

Minimum Experience

Four (4) years of experience required, including lead level system administrator experience in system or network administration on in-house or comparable systems
Experience with Windows servers and Active Directory required
Experience with scripting (e.g. PowerShell) and automating system administration processes required
Experience with Office 365, Microsoft Azure, Azure AD Connect and ADFS is preferred
Experience with server management (e.gSCCM), enterprise monitoring, and IT Service Management (e.g.ServiceNow) preferred
Experience in a multi-vendor computer/network operating and application systems environment preferred
Experience in a biomedical research or academic environment preferred
