Job Description :
Responsibilities
· Coordinates and implements builds and application deployments for WebSphere applications on a scheduled basis
· Monitors performance of critical system applications and resolves operational problems in accordance with corporate guidelines
· Assists application development staff with the architecture and development of WebSphere applications
· Installs and maintains WebSphere and related software on UNIX, Linux, and Windows platforms
· Manages WebSphere configurations
Required Skills
· Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
· Extensive WebSphere Application Server (WAS) administration experience using WebSphere versions 8.5.5 and 9.0 in a multi-node, clustered environment.
· Understanding of JMS administration in support of a WebSphere Application Server infrastructure.
· Understanding of security and JDBC configurations.
· Advanced UNIX skills.
· Must be capable of completing administration tasks without GUI toolsets.
