Role: Digital Technologies Support Engineer.
Location: Grand Rapids, Michigan.

Job Description:

Support Digital Platform transforming the ecommerce experience
Maintain and Enhance commerce web application suite
Perform in-depth analysis on all major PROD issues/defects and provide recovery steps/enhancements to the team.
Lead problem Management and resolution
Provide thought-leadership within team and to the broader community to promote re-use and develop consistent technical build, implementation and support processes
Implementing effective monitoring & alerting strategies to ensure quicker detection of issues.
Service maintenance employing ITIL principles
Define and enforce Service SLA with Business Relationship Management and product vendors
A team player who can collaborate with engineers, product managers, and other cross functional teams
?Good Communication and Coordination skills
??Strong Java/J2EE background with front-end web design / Support
Significant experience in Angular or React
?Sound understanding of front end building blocks including templates, components, dialogs, widgets, social components etc., code build and deployment process
?Minimum 5 years extensive experience with J2EE, Java and web applications (Spring all layers, Spring MVC, jstl, jsp)
??Experience with JavaScript, jQuery, json, ajax, REST web services
2+ years of UI development or Support experience with ES6 Java Script and CSS preprocessors(LESS, SASS
??Knowledge of Cloud Technologies – Azure is a plus
Knowledge of AEM front end is a plus
