Job Description :
5+ years of experience in quality assurance of video-centric applications over CE devices, web, mobile - understanding system requirements, test requirement gathering and testing life cycle.
· Participate in day to day activities involving requirement gathering, translate requirement/design documents into detailed test scripts, maintain test environment, create change requests and follow up with development team.
· Certify applications developed for web, IOS and Android and knowledge of various OS/browsers.
· Knowledge of web debugging proxy application Charles or Wireshark.
· Maintain appropriate documentation for the test activities and process.
· Demonstrated experience with defect tracking tool such as Jira
· Excellent written & verbal communication and analytical skills.
· Investigate bugs and provide root cause analysis.
· Excellent troubleshooting and problem solving skills, in addition to excellent attention to details.
· Strong organizational and time management skills while working in a rapid software development process.
· Should have knowledge of API testing tools such as SoapUI, Postman.
· Should have an experience in writing automated scripts using Python.
· Shall be knowledgeable in using Linux and Shell Scripting
· Expertise in testing tools like Appium, Selenium
· Prior experience in writing automated tests using Javascript, Ruby or any other equivalent.
· Knowledge of using GIT and Jenkins.
· Experience in Agile methodologies
