Role: Java Developer
Location: Mechnicsburg, PA
Seeking a talented JAVA Developer to join our project team to provide development and sustainment services for our clients, both pre and post-implementation. Responsibilities include working with System Architects and Technology Team to understand business and technical requirements and solutions architecture. Candidate should be dedicated to delivering client engagements with quality - focused on common tools, technologies, and methodologies.
REQUIRED SKILLS:
Minimum 4 years of professional working experience with Java and JEE development including Java, JavaScript, JSP, EJB, and web services
At least 2 years of professional working experience working with tuning SQL (RDBMS)
Strong technical issue troubleshooting skills across all layers of the application
Deep understanding of framework and internals of the architecture, including JSP, EJB, SERVLETS, JDBC, JMS, Transaction services, Logging (Log4J), Thread Management and development of asynchronous java processes
Experience in using SVN version control system, rapid application development platforms like eclipse or IBM RAD or similar, build and deployment process and tools like Maven, ANT /Cruise Control
Good knowledge on HTML UI, CSS and Javascript
Knowledge of SOA architecture and in depth knowledge of web services internals, object-oriented programming (OOP)

Strong communication skills, both written and oral
Strong Analytical and Problem Solving Skills
Java certifications are a plus
Prior experience in a Deloitte IE project is preferred
preferred skills: candidate with Java/J2EE, EJB and Query Tuning Skills
