Job Description :
Functions & Responsibilities:
Performing test activities to verify and validate implemented enhancements to satisfy business requirements and client expectations.
Develop and maintain test schedules, cost estimates and forecasts; write master test plans and coordinating test specifications, test cases, and test data; manage defect workflow, troubleshoot test issues and defects by working with developers and vendor in researching and resolving defects and issues.
Develop and execute manual scripts to support testing requirements and coordinate the team effort to complete.
Participate in review of business and design specifications.
Document and present test strategies to management, business and development teams, including identifying and presenting areas and strategies for improvement.
Identify, prioritize and work with vendor and development teams to address any defects.
Produce test result metrics and reporting to track test progress and quality effectiveness.
Review test results and report findings to management, using standardized reports and metrics.
Evaluate the accuracy and precision of the product from the business point of view and drive recommendations for production readiness.
Analyze, review and approve complex master test plans and related documents, test cases, test schedules & test scripts produced analyst themselves and by other team members.
Interface with business subject matter experts to understand the business process, metrics and language to ensure appropriate test coverage.
Identify and track issues, risks, and action items for assigned projects.
Demonstrates the ability to carefully listen to others at all levels in the organization
Strong time management, prioritization and organizational skills
Understands and adheres to all policies related to the organization
Take on ad-hoc projects as needed

Requirements:
Prior QA Analyst experience
4 year College Degree and 3+ years QA Experience or equivalent 5 year work experience a MUST
Excellent verbal & written communication and organization skills
Strong logical & critical thinking
Experienced in formulating use cases, test cases, test scripts and strategically prioritizing results
Manage bugs and issues to successful resolution
Ability to multitask and work on multiple modules simultaneously
Strong knowledge of the software development life cycle and roles
Strong knowledge of test concepts, practices, and procedures
Excellent attention to detail
Customer-focused, service-oriented
Confident in Microsoft Office products – Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Visio, Project
Prior Retail QA experience
Relational database knowledge (e.g. DB2, SQL, Oracle)
Familiar with QA tracking systems, like TestRail
Thorough experience in all components of HP Quality Center/ALM (Requirements, Test Plan, Test Lab, Defects)
Experience with automated regression testing systems
Knowledge of software development methods and quality assurance best practice techniques
Excellent interpersonal skills including written and oral communications and time management skills.
Skilled in developing interpersonal and relationship skills necessary to work with an integrated team of customers, product managers, implementation specialists and developers
Seasoned tester with skills applied to functional and regression testing
Ability to provide technical leadership in test planning, procedures development and test execution
Ability to multi-task and manage multiple projects and priorities
Ability to draft formal test schedules and estimates with minimal to no supervision
Shows initiative in providing solutions to common/simple and varying complex departmental processes, generating new ideas and suggestions as appropriate.
Reviews and provides input to requirements/design documents.
Triages and reports test defects and analyzes trends.
Coordinates defect review meetings.
Coordinates test environment configurations and maintenance.
Executes SQL commands to manage and verify data.
Reviews and provides input to installation, implementation, and training materials.
Supports UAT resources and activities.
Reports test metrics on resource utilization, defect analysis, and test coverage.
