Job Description :
Competencies : Digital : Python, Digital : Machine Learning, Digital : DevOps Testing, Assurance : Manual Testing Processes and Management
Essential Skills :
Strong Agile Tester (with proven ability to peer influence/model agile team behavior)
Strong at Test Driven Design & Development (includes the ability to elicit acceptance criteria and negative testing scenarios with team members)
Strong DevOps, Agile understanding
Sound working experience on R and Python
Exposure to data science and machine learning is an added advantage
Role Description :
1.Testing of the advanced analytics internal model pipeline, writing bugs and test cases.
2. Testing of existing and newly developed features of data science models along with the product testing.
3. Assist in reviewing and writing automated tests.
4. Develop framework and processes to support regression testing, unit testing, input output testing on data science models and pipeline.
5. Regular testing of data migrations, database throughput and internal tool updates Follow and optimize existing testing documentation.
6. Write concise, targeted test plans for other testers or teams thereof
Desirable Skills :

1. Strong Agile Tester (with proven ability to peer influence/model agile team behavior)
2. Strong at Test Driven Design & Development (includes the ability to elicit acceptance criteria and negative testing scenarios with team members)
3. Sound working experience on R and Python
4. Strong with the CMI Test Services Test Management process
5. Exposure to data science and machine learning is an added advantage
6. Strong knowledge of Spark and Scala Other skills good to have are:
Exposure to working with Hive
Exposure to working with Parquet and ORC
Exposure to building complex pipelines from data ingestion to feature engineering
Exposure to Microsoft Azure
Exposure to Microsoft HDInsight
Good data modeling experience
Good software engineering principles and best practices e.g. debugging skills, release cycles, performance optimization
Know how to work with Git and Git Flow
Any exposure to working with Analytics and Data Scientist is a plus
Manage their own work stream
Any exposure to working in a live setting is a plus
