Urgent Requirements for UI/UX Designer at Houston, TX
Role: UI/UX Designer
Location: Houston, TX
Experience: 8-10 Years
Essential Skills:
o 5 years+ experience with UI/UX- Portfolio available with application-
o Ability to cartoon, storyboard, wireframe and create professional, modern graphics and illustrations-
o Certification in User Design
o Preferred knowledge of Microsoft Platform –
o good to have Experience planning and conducting user research at various stages of the design process?
o Strong communication skills with ability to articulate the value of a design choice to users and non-designer stakeholders?
o Creative problem solving and analytical thinking?
o Able to produce high quality creative solutions in a fast-paced environment?
o Combined skills in 2 of 3 of the following: User Research, Interaction Design, Visual Mindset & Behaviors Synthesizes abstract ideas into tangible solutions for design?
o Is passionate about problem solving through design?
o Sees value in taking an iterative design approach ?
o Has a strong sense of ownership and proactively advocates for the end user?
o Open to taking on new challenges and learning new skills?
o Collaborative, curious, empathetic, open-minded, innovative
Job Description:
o Able to plan, conduct, and synthesize user research and usability testing-
o Skilled at creating interaction design solutions for desktop, web and mobile applications- Strong visual design skills, able to create compelling, branded, high-fidelity product screens-
o Familiar working with design systems that consistently scale across platforms- Sports or gaming knowledge and enthusiasm is a plus
