Position: Informatica Powercenter
Location: Pittsburgh,Collegeville, PA
Client: TCS
Duration: 6+ Months.
Experience Required (in Yrs) : 6-8 years
Technical/ Functional Skills:
5+ years of hands on development experience in large ETL/Data warehousing project
3+ years of strong Administrator experience on Informatica Big data edition (preferred version 10.2 or above
3+ years of hands on Linux/Unix scripting.
Should have in depth knowledge in software architecture and Extract, Transform, Load concepts.
Participate in business and system requirement sessions in multi partner environments.
Requirement elicitation and translation to technical specifications
Lead estimation and review it with stakeholders
Provide inputs for solution architecture based on evaluation and understanding of alternatives, framework and other products
Experience in an Agile development team.
Creative thinker, able to propose custom solutions that solve client problems.
Positive attitude and a strong commitment to delivering quality work.
Excellent knowledge of cloud computing technologies and current computing trends.
Effective communication skills (written and verbal) to properly articulate complicated cloud reports to management and other IT development partners.
Experience in ETL, Informatica Big data edition (v 10.2 or above)
Experience in AWS cloud, EMR
Must have experience in big data technologies like MapR, Cloudera, EMR etc.
Must have 3 plus year of project experience in Administration in Informatica Bigdata edition.
Experience in Admin day to day activities like BDM installation and configuration, BDM security,
BDM performance tuning, Monitoring Mappings and Viewing Hadoop Environment Logs, alerting, critical patch installation,
New product features testing, User onboarding-offboarding etc.
Passion for learning, growing, and mentor team members on the fine art of platform engineering.
Should work with the product vendor engineering team for any issue, bug-fixes and future enhancemen
