Position: Tableau Dashboarding - BI Analytics
Location: San Jose, CA
Job Description:-
Hands on working on Tableau development and end user experience.
Extensive experience in Tableau Desktop, Tableau Server.
Build and prototype dashboards to provide insights into the operations of a business function.
Expertise in Data Visualization including effective communication, appropriate chart types, and best practices.
Experience reverse engineering and revising Tableau Workbooks created by other developers.
Knowledge of best practices and experience optimizing Tableau for performance.
Experience in analyzing various data sources for design, development, testing and reporting and analysis projects within Tableau Desktop.
Working on creating reports/dashboards using Tableau desktop.
Designing and developing analytical reports from multiple data sources by blending data on a single worksheet in Tableau Desktop.
Extensive knowledge in various reporting objects like Facts, Attributes, Hierarchies, Transformations, filters, User Security, prompts, Calculated fields, Sets, Groups, Parameters etc., in Tableau.
Worked on the development of Dashboard reports for the Key Performance Indicators for the top management.
Performance tuning BI reports and dashboards
Building, publishing customized interactive reports and dashboards, report scheduling using Tableau server.
Have good understanding of Tableau architecture, design, development and end user experience.
Experience performing basic administration tasks in Tableau Server for a production environment like user groups, and scheduled instances for reports in Tableau
