JOB DESCRIPTION -:
Essential Skills-
Ability to create Mapping documents according to the business rules.
* Experience working in Talend ETL project life cycles in a large DWH environment with various data sources.
* Design, develop, validate and deploy the Talend ETL processes for data collection, data staging, data movement, data quality and archiving strategies.
* Design ETL jobs using Various Talend components. Creating Context Variables, Job lets, routines and further using them in Project level jobs.
* Experience in sourcing data from S3 buckets and further loading it into Redshift.
* Experience in scaling and performance tuning of Talend Jobs.
* Experience working on Talend Administration Center (TAC To Publish and schedule jobs in TAC through Job Conductor & Execution Plans
* Experience in using Repository Manager for Migration of Source code from Lower to higher environments.
* Troubleshoot issues with Nexus Artifact Repository to automate code deployment activities.
* Ability to write Unix shell Scripts Ability to write complex SQL Queries.
* Basic Java knowledge Required(Optional* Working Experience in AWS Environment.
* Experience in Error Handling and Debugging Talend jobs to understand the errors in Jobs and resolve them quickly.
* Plan and conduct ETL Unit and development tests, monitoring results and taking corrective action when necessary.
* Prepares detailed system documentation including requirements, Design specifications, test plans and user manuals/Run Book.
Role Description-
Participate on multiple projects to implement/enhance solutions that will build on the current marketing platform.
Provide Talend application support for all Talend environment from DevOps and RunOps stand point.
Facilitate the Talend Admin role in new implementations and major enhancements projects. Assess, draft and maintain all the SDLC and required deliverables.
This position works directly with Project team members, Customer Relationship Managers, IS Solution leads, IS PMO team, IS infrastructure teams, and third party vendors and will ensure adherence to the Astellas system development lifecycle (SDLC) methodology, practices, and tools.
