Embedded Security Developer
Location: Plano, TX (on-site is mandatory)
Duration: 2-3 year contract
Start: Immediately upon interview and acceptance
Interview: Phone/Skype with in-person preferred
Our client seeks to improve vehicle security and has an IMMEDIATE NEED for hands-on development skills with embedded systems with a working knowledge of security.
Requirements:
- At least 3 years of embedded systems development and deployment experience.
- Demonstrate a good working knowledge of embedded security best practices and the secure development lifecycle.
- Experience implementing security applications for embedded systems.
- Experience securing sensitive data on an embedded system.
- Very knowledgeable of core security concepts and how they apply to embedded systems.
- Proficient programmer skills (i.e., C, C++, C#, and Java
- Ability to learn new technology quickly and adapt to changes.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Strong oral and written skills.
Preferences:
- Experience with both AWS & Azure cloud environments
- Experience with containerization implementations in the cloud
- Database design experience (e.g., MongoDB, SQL, Postgres, etc
- Agile/Scrum experience
