Cloud Operations Analyst - Azure/AWS
Location: Houston, TX
Job Description:
We are looking for a cloud operations analyst with experience in both Azure and AWS platforms. This is an operational role for day to day response and remediation to work requests. The candidate should be based in Houston, Tx with the ability to travel on occasion. This person will be part of our Cloud Advancement team.
Key Accountabilities:
Responsible for providing quality data to the businesses and functions in an efficient manner so that critical decisions can be made effectively and efficiently.
Supports, promotes and documents all Data Management processes and procedures.
Develops workflows and tools that automate data loading processes and help ensure data quality and integrity.
Ensures the quality, consistency, and integrity of data in a timely, effective and reliable manner.
Receives, archives, distributes, loads, and disposes off technical data according to policies, standards and procedures.
Required and Preferred Skills and Experience
Experienced level, typically 5-7 years of experience.
Requires a strong understanding of discipline.
Able to apply knowledge and experience to complex problems and develop recommendations.
Makes decisions within broad parameters.
Acts as an informal resource for others with less experience.
Key skills needed:
Deep knowledge of IAM policy permissions and Azure RBAC
Understands and can develop ARM and cloud formation templates
Ability to provision core services
Proficient in PowerShell and python
Experience with Service Now and ability to manage general support requests
Ability to identify and fix security issues in AWS and Azure accounts
Excellent oral and written communications skills
Strong technical background and troubleshooting ability
Experience working in Agile operational and project environments
