How will you add value on a day-to-day basis?
In this position, you’ll create intuitive modern interfaces. A passion for research and a desire to work with data-driven complex workflows is a must. You should have a knack for simplifying complicated interfaces.
As our ideal candidate, you will have a creative mind and impeccable instinct about what people want. Additionally, you should have a strong understanding of what makes a powerful user experience and pull from common problems to find a pleasing, inspiring solution.

How will you add value on a day-to-day basis?
Ship amazing features, work with team members to stay ahead of issues and make sure projects are delivered on time.
Conduct research through stakeholder interviews, user research, market research, analytics, observation, surveys, etc
Stay current on emerging industry trends, and the competitive landscape to provide insight on ways to improve usability, and product functionality
Lead and facilitate a multi-disciplinary team through each stage of the design process to create visually compelling designs of interactive content and navigation for online and mobile solutions.
Create interaction models, user task flows, screen designs, and UI details that promote ease of use and optimize task flows.
Collaborate with project team to clearly define user experience requirements, personas, user scenarios, journey maps.
Contribute to ideation and sketching sessions, storyboards, prototyping and usability testing to create comprehensive wireframe system.
Excellent interpersonal communications and presentation skills at review meetings and fosters a friendly critique session in order to come up with a great design. Defends and provides rationalization for design choices to stakeholders.
Creates and delivers UX design documentation to aid with cross-team communication, collaboration and development.
Plays an active role in the identification and recommendation of future product improvements through awareness and understanding of metrics, site-wide information architecture and industry best practices.

What will make you the ideal candidate?
BA/BS or MS in Graphic Design, Industrial Design, Human Computer Interaction, Human Factors, Cognitive Science
or equivalent practical experience.
2-5 years’ experience as an information architect, interaction designer, or experience designer (or similar role) with application, web and mobile interfaces
Experience working with Agile methodologies.
Ability to effectively communicate at all levels of the organization
A thorough understanding of user-centered design methodologies and processes, including but not limited to, usability testing, persona creation and customer research experience
Ability to identify opportunities for change, ideate on concepts, advocate for the needs of our customers, and lead design from empathy to iteration to deliver human-centered solutions
Experience solving complex UX challenges, creating wireframes, and high-quality visual designs
Solid proficiency with a variety of rapid prototyping and visualization tools (e.g., InVision, Photoshop, Axure, Sketch, Balsamiq, Omnigraffle, etc
A thoughtful communicator as well as outstanding written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to communicate and manage expectations to team members on external/internal team needs, deliverables, deadlines, and general technical topics.
Passion for quality work with an understanding of how to prioritize and make tradeoffs.
Passion for the field of User Experience; detailed and practical understanding of best practices in user experience design.
Experience facilitating activities to gather insights on user needs and goals and conducting usability testing.
Experience finding simple, innovative solutions for complex problems.
A sense for prioritization and can manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment
An understanding of iOS and Android interface design and fundamental patterns along with web
Experience with responsive and adaptive design for multiple devices
