Job Title: Test Automation Engineer – USC, GC, EAD (H4, L2, GC) only
Job Location: Durham, North Carolina US
Duration: Fulltime
Experience: 6 Years
Strong experience in developing in Java, Javascript, Node.js, or Groovy
Strong experience in Selenium or similar front-end automation tooling, particularly in development / design of overall automation frameworks
Strong experience creating / writing test automation scripts out of requirements, understand and create scenarios from client's requirements
Experience writing tests leveraging API level automation tools such as Postman or SoapUI
Experience leveraging Jenkins or other continuous delivery tooling as a scheduler and reporting infrastructure for automated testing
Experience writing unit tests leveraging frameworks such as JUnit, Mocha, or Grunt is a plus
Experience performing black box, GUI, functionality, regression and user acceptance testing is a plus
Experience in front-end WebUI development and debug is a plus
Understanding of agile project methodologies
Experience and understanding of all phases of SDLC and deployments
Ability to work independently or as a team player
Understanding of the following front-end technologies - HTML, XML, Ajax, SOAP, Web Services, Microsoft Edge/Internet Explorer, Firefox, Chrome, Safari
Familiarity with GitHub or similar source control tools and methodologies
Familiarity with the IBM Support Process
Familiarity with Salesforce and Service Console is a plus • Be a part of the team focused on developing ground-up test automation to serve as the quality check for the IBM Cognitive Support Platform's continuous delivery pipeline
Partner across various front and back-end development teams working on the Cognitive Support Platform to understand their solutions and test automation needs
Troubleshoot product and automation issues found during development and testing
Participate in a daily scrum with test, automation, and development leadership
