Technical Writer
Location – Cincinnati, OH
Roles and Responsibilities:
Work in supporting quarterly technical releases for Tier 1 IT systems within the organization
Review, research and finalize quarterly product release scope and technical requirements based on user feedback.
Plan work effort to meet product release dates, Provide technical writing function for system engineers, Technically intensive user manuals, and monthly reports.
Participate in technical design documentation, conduct technical design documentation review and seek approvals from Technical system owners.
Responsible for the creation of all customer facing technical documentation, related to initial product release and ongoing maintenance, support and enhancements.
The Lead Technical Writer will interface between the technical team, project leadership and client to ensure successful delivery of technical deliverables.
This includes facilitating discussions with these teams to define requirements for the technical documentation, design and create: Technology specific Online help for developers to aid in coding activities, API developer guides, technical release notes for software application(s) user guides for the developer community, product deployment guide for enterprise user setup and configuring the application.
Document test automation guides containing technical guidelines for test script automation and logging testing results systemically.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology or related area.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
