Position : Technical Writer - Sr Technical Writer 1
Location : Salt Lake City, UT
Duration : 12 Months
Start Date : 11/26/2018
Rate : $30.00hr on W2 and $33hr on 1099
PLEASE NOTE:
-could be contract to hire for the right candidate
-no travel is anticipated
-education requirement: 2 year degree plus 4 years of related experience or HS Diploma/Equivalent plus 6 years of experience
-interviews will be in person in SLC if the candidate is local, otherwise we will utilize video interviewing

Job Description:
Develop Operation and Maintenance manuals that include Description, Installation, Operation, Theory of Operation, Testing and Troubleshooting, and Maintenance.
Develop Inspection Work Cards, Maintenance Requirement Cards and Illustrated Parts List manuals.
Develop training course outlines and slide show presentations as well as other training course materials as required.
REQUIRED:
US citizenship and ability to obtain a Secret Clearance are requirements.
Bachelor''s degree in appropriate discipline or in the absence of a degree six years of related experience.
Technical Writing/Training skills: applicants must possess the ability to develop instructional documentation, Theory of Operation, Testing and Troubleshooting, and Maintenance procedures for training systems using schematic diagrams, Engineering drawings, and equipment specifications.
Expert use of MS Office is a requirement - Applicants must have the ability to create templates and utilize master documents in MS Word.
