Your audience is internal  engineers and automotive manufacturer developers some of them completely new to the product area and in need of intuitive onboarding content. You’ll work with technical folks and program managers to document APIs, code samples, and complex systems.
You should be comfortable with intricate technologies and front- and back-end systems.
You should enjoy simplifying difficult concepts and presenting them in straightforward, easy-to-understand prose.
It’s also important that you’ve worked on in-progress processes and know how to organize far-flung information by multiple authors and make it easy to navigate.
This position is action-oriented and proactive and requires a fast learner who knows how to prioritize.
Write clear and succinct documentation for developers in a big hurry to get tasks done 
Manage and edit docs written by engineering teams and drive active contributions
Make sure the content addresses engineers'' specific needs regarding domain ramp-ups, launches, collaborative tasks, etc.

Responsibilities:

Meet with stakeholders and subject matter experts to obtain knowledge transfers about topics to be documented. 
Write content to meet stakeholder and audience needs and objectives for specific milestones. 
Revise documentatIon with reviewer feedback.

Qualification :

MandatoryWriting samples required Excellent written and verbal communication skills BA/BS degree.
Manager is open to areas of study.
In lieu of degree, 2 additional years of relevant work experience creating technical documentation.
At least 4 years of work experience with technical documentation and read/document source code in Java or C++ Proven track record of researching and writing effective documentation for developers, including architectural overviews and programming guides .
Can create well-organized docs that help engineers get up to speed quickly Ability to manage multiple, competing priorities in a fast-paced, constantly changing environment

Preferred Skills :

DesiredKnowledge of HTML and Markdown Knowledge of automotive industry Knowledge of automotive sensor technology Ability to write code samples in C++ or Java
