They want someone to manager the off shore technical team.
Client seeks a Technical Solutions Manager in Detroit, MI to utilize
knowledge of web-based and data driven software application development to
serve as a technical partner and liaison for all technical aspects of
assigned projects.
* Manage and direct both the onshore and offshore development teams
responsible for delivering website and database
* Analyze technical problems, client requirements and procedures to
improve existing software systems.
* Assist in developing technical solutions and meeting system
architecture design needs utilizing .NET, WCF, ASP.NET ,
ASP.NET MVC, ASP.NET Web API, C#, VB.NET
, JavaScript, Angular JS, Windows, Oracle Apex, SQL Server,
Web Services, Web APIs, Oracle, object-oriented design concepts and Agile
methodologies.
* Solve new and existing technical issues, troubleshoot system issues,
understand requirements, and implement designs for specific projects.
* Work with the project management and clients to define technical
client requirements and deliverables as required by the company''s delivery
methodology. Interface with clients directly, or indirectly, for technical
sales.
* Work with the creative team for website development initiatives.
* Develop and approve the technical project timelines and delivery
schedules, and assist in ensuring and enforcing project definition and
timing schedules.
* Lead the effort to properly ensure best practice design and overall
system architecture for technical deliverables.
Must have a Master''s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or
foreign equivalent, and at least 2 years of post-baccalaureate experience as
a Software Developer, or substantially similar position; alternatively, must
have a Bachelor''s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or
foreign equivalent, and at least 5 years of experience as a Software
Developer, or substantially similar position. Required experience listed
above must include: performing requirement gathering to prepare technical
and functional specifications; designing and architecting web applications
and processes, performing design reviews and code reviews, performance
tuning of the applications and coordinating with release management team;
and utilizing WCF, ASP.NET MVC, ASP.NET
Web API, C#, VB.NET , JavaScript, Angular JS, Windows,
Oracle Apex, SQL Server, Web Services, Oracle, object-oriented design
concepts and Agile methodologies.
