Overview:
The Innovation Group Research & Development team located in San Francisco is currently seeking a highly motivated Senior Developer/Tech Lead.
This group explores and experiments with emerging technologies that help elevate the relationship with their customers and help their team members become more productive and innovative.
They collaborate with various Lines of Business within the bank and with technology innovators outside to create an intersection where they apply technology to create business value for the bank and their customers.
Come support the Innovation R&D Data Science team focused on developing next generation data strategies that leverage machine intelligence technologies to improve customer experience and relationships, improve internal operations, reduce risk and improve regulatory compliance.
This team is establishing a new data standard based on semantic technology – a new generation of data and paradigm shift from the traditional relational database model.
They are building a customer knowledge graph that allows us to link ALL customer data (regardless of source) to gain insights and eliminate redundancy.
The goal is to have a true 360 degree view of the customer.
Project:
They will be building against Semantic Technology working on a "Customer Knowledge Grab"
Project Deliverables:
Data Validation: building rules, working on tooling
Knowledge Grab around Servers: building visualization with R Shiny, backend components using Java
Building of Prototypes
Requirements:
Excellent soft & written skills with the ability to create specifications & documentation
Java & Eclipse & Maven & IntelliJ
JavaScript / D3 and / visjs
DevOps with Jenkins
Data Engineering with SQL and Data Virtualization
Unix shell scripting
Scala / Clojure
Excellent soft & written skills with the ability to create specifications & documentation
Ability to execute and be flexible to take direction on necessary tasks with minimal guidance within defined guardrails
Perform code reviews, and restructure others code as required by style guidelines and best practices
Availability to respond without notice, and do work as necessary on non-standard hours
When directed work on tasks that may not be within area of technical expertise or existing skills with little ramp-up time allowed
