Position: Tableau/Alteryx Developer

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES :
Translate business requirements into the design and implementation of features and functionality required to deliver the required results
Design and implement dashboards and reports using Tableau Server.
Provide application, and feature designs, within a given architecture or framework
Deliver aggressive re-factoring projects, providing a design, and transition or migration of data
Perform unit and integration testing in a deployment environment to verify the delivered implementation meets the
given requirements
Provide support for implementations, as well as testing support during testing and user acceptance testing
Deliver high quality code with minimal defects/re-work
Gain an understanding of the various internal processes.
QUALIFICATIONS :
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent work experience
At least 5-7 years hands-on experience in Tableau. (Overall 9+ is recommended)
A minimum of 2+ years of demonstrated hands-on development experience with Alteryx
Strong experience in design and development of building Tableau reports and dashboards
Strong experience with Tableau (Tableau Desktop accepted, Tableau Server a plus
Experience in long-term care or healthcare environment
Strong Alteryx transformations knowledge and experience in integrating with tableau for extracts.
Solid SQL Server skills
Expert level of T-SQL skills
Experience with Agile/Scrum development methodology Testing including unit, integration, performance and
regression
Understanding of Data Warehouse concepts
Proficiency in data visualization, dashboard design and workflow Ability to translate requirements into sustainable and
efficient visualizations and reporting Experience in creating complex formulas and calculations
Dashboard performance tuning and optimization
Understanding of data modeling based on specifications
Strong analytical skills to solve and model complex business requirements
Proven analytical, problem solving, time management and organizational skills
Good communication, presentation and collaboration skills
