Job Description :
Primary Responsibilities:
The successful candidate will work with the client’s team to implement, maintain, and enhance its enterprise-level data ingestion and Harmonization into Data Lake using MarkLogic.
The successful candidate will work as part of a team comprised of a project manager, business analysts, and other members of the technical staff to use test-driven development techniques to develop and implement data management processes to support sequencing and analysis efforts.
Specific responsibilities will include: Work with Business Analysts and Data Modelers to understand requirements.
Design and develop sustainable collections/ forests/ APIs to support those requirements.
Create technical design documents that capture source to target mapping, define harmonization algorithms, and document data quality rules.
Required Qualifications
Forward thinking, independent, creative, self-sufficient and go-getter; who can work with less documentation
Good communication skills. Team Oriented and can work independently
Strong knowledge on MarkLogic 8.x and 9.x
Develop JavaScript and xquery modules and Rest APIs to design and support complex searches against the database
Proficient in any one Object-oriented programming language (preferable Javascript/Java)
Experience in creating triggers, indexes
Leveraging MarkLogic search APIs to build RESTful services
Create, manage databases within MarkLogic
Performance tuning Javascript and xquery modules/APIs
Experience with mlcp and transforms for loading data
Experience with developer Marklogic Entity Model
Experience with building Marklogic data hub
Data hub framework (DHF) experience
Co-ordinate and manage development, quality assurance testing, user acceptance testing and production rollout for all enhancements
Understanding of the SOA (Service Oriented Architecture)
Good Understanding of JSON, JAVA development, SOAP UI, WSDL File
Experienced in custom IDD Screen Development
Good written and oral communication skills. Documenting design specs, unit test results etc.
Must be willing to work in the downtown Los Angeles California area
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with working with business partners to translate business requirements to workflow designs.
Healthcare provider or insurance experience
Able to identify and suggest elements in original designs that should be reviewed to make them more standards / web compliant
