Overview
Leads the architectural engineering and design efforts for Information Services (IS) systems and to define future architecture views and migration plans. Future architecture views include mapping business strategies to technology strategies, mapping business needs to the existing and future required infrastructure, and setting architectural standards and guidelines. This requires the ability to work in partnership with information technology leadership and to develop a common vision of how technology will be used and deployed by IS within St. Jude Children''s Research Hospital (SJCRH This position has three primary responsibilities: 1) research, monitoring, and evaluation of new technologies, 2) strategic and architectural planning, and 3) integration of new technologies and applications into the evolving architecture through support of new projects and initiatives. This position requires a highly motivated and knowledgeable individual who has extensive knowledge of enabling technologies and how they can be deployed to enhance the efficiency of business and clinical processes.
Minimum Education

Bachelor''s degree in computer science, management information systems, or related field required

Minimum Experience

Eight (8) years of experience in IT support services, including six (6) years in systems, network, or operations management required
Two (2) years of supervisory/management experience preferred.
Experience with enterprise IT infrastructure platforms and solutions, including operating systems, storage, networking, and management applications required
Must demonstrate technical depth in at least three of the following areas: software applications development, systems infrastructure, enterprise-level networking, or technology implementation planning
Previous experience in team development and project managementamp;nbsp;
