Position Summary:
Provides strategic leadership for technology solutions globally and serves as the IT Solutions Architect for large sized projects that have major impact on multiple business processes, including those that involve multiple Simplot business units / groups, multiple interrelated technologies, multiple vendors, leading edge technologies, significant operational or implementation risks, complex business functionality and broad implications for the organization. Facilitates and drives solution architectural planning and design and development of cross functional, multiplatform application systems. Provides technical guidance/leadership to IT colleagues and vendors, working with the project manager to design/code/implement projects. Seen by Simplot as a key IT resource that can drive change through applications solutions.
Experience:
At least 8 – 10 years of experience in information systems or technology roles with 3 to 5 years of demonstrated advancement toward advanced architecture roles, with specific experiences with various enterprise solutions. Combination of relevant education, training and/or experience will be considered for this position.
