Job Description :
Title: Software Engineer (Support Analyst)
Duration: 6+ months
Work Location: Secaucus, NJ

Should have worked on production support environment

Minimum requirements:
Experience with Java spring boot
Experience working with SQL.
Experience with Azure cli or powershell
Experience working with putty or some other ssh tool
Knowledge of AngularJS
Experience with Git repository
Troubleshooting

Ideal requirements:
Have the minimum experience
Kubernetes experience working with pods -deployment and troubleshooting
Worked with Azure cli
Some Azure exposure
Worked with message queues (be able to troubleshoot issues with Azure eventhub)
Angular Js development experience
MongoDB experience
Experience working with Json
Jenkins experience
Azure DevOps/ VSTS
API Development
Knowledge of python
Experience working with MongoDB
Quick learner
Motivated to learn

Sample support activities performed:
Troubleshooting
Review, reproduced a symptom
Look at system codes to determining defects vs new requirements
Identify workaround or provide estimates for a fix
Ssh / monitor pods In kubernetes
Ssh into containers to run scripts when necessary
Use flyway to set up SQL script migration

Deploy:
Code merge and migration
Work with Azure DevOps/VSTS
Work with Jenkins for release
Define / set up configuration for different environments
Update configuration settings
ssh to kubernetes to confirm successful deployments
Work with ARM template
Work with Docker file

Coding
Work with git repository
Work different branches
Make changes to angular Js code
Make changes to java spring boot code
Work with Maven framework/project
Work with python code
Update api services

Storage / Database:
View, confirm BDL data loaded in Azure (this could go under troubleshooting)
Work with Uday’s team to monitor storage
Connect to db to execute sql scripts
Delete blobs when data need to be rerun (this requires knowledge of Azure cli)

Users setup:
Submit request to CAS to register users
Run scripts in SQL dB to add and map users to roles
