POSITION: Software Developer, Applications (Oracle/ PL/SQL Developer)
JOB DUTIES:
Interact with all stake holders of billing analytics project to gather business requirement during product development and enhancement.
Follow agile methodology to gather business requirement on wireless and wireline business domain Received general instructions on non-routine work assignments from stakeholders.
Perform research and designing of proof of concept to migrate billing application component from on premise Oracle and J2EE application servers to AMAZON AWS EC2 and RDS cloud database severs independently. Main goal is to achieve more cost effective highly efficient, secure and super responsive system.
Adapt latest cloud technologies like Amazon EC2 application servers, RDS db like Maira db and MySQL db, Aurora db, CICD pipelines, Jenkin jobs, aurora compatible PostgreSQL etc. and best practices of AWS framework; thereafter implement those practices into legacy applications to renovate the system all together
Adapt Oracle as well as Aurora Postgresql performance tuning and various query optimization techniques, analytical functions and supported very large-scale databases (5TB
Work as individual contributor as well as in a team setting within a matrix organization.
Demonstrate all pros and cons of newly adapted AWS technologies to all business stakeholders during before/ during/after the application migration process.
Receive and deliver adhoc business domain and technology level training as per job requirement
Educate business stakeholders on each enhancement or applications during each phase of sdlc life cycle i.e. analysis, design, coding, testing, deployment, maintenance.
Prepare detailed functional specification documents for each business requirement changes or new development or enhancement requests.
Work with technical architect to come up with detailed technical design document and get those documents approved by manager.
Prepare test cases and to test the system after completion of development.
Work in onsite/offshore model to prepare and review testcases and coordinated different activities for the same.
Work with QA analyst and business subject matter expert to get test cases and test results certified for each enhancement and development task.
Provide requirement clarification to all development team in day-to-day basis Worked in onsite/offshore model to share development work and monitored the progress of development.
Act as a liaison between business stakeholder and IT development team, QA analyst as well as business subject matter expert.
Involved in complete end to end system testing to ensure system works as expected.
Application code is written by Oracle PL/SQL, Unix, Java Spring batch, Postgresql; job scheduling is performed using Linux crontab and daemon jobs; monitoring and analyzing Java / Oracle 12c application performance performed through Wily, performance matrix tables and AWS CloudWatch.
Work with business stake holder during UAT and Go-Live, validate the system and give a go for the system readiness.

Bachelor''s degree or equivalent in Computer Science (CS), Information Technology (IT), Information Systems (IS), Computer Engineering (CE), Informatics, or Software Engineering (SE), or closely related field + 5 year experience in job offered or related.
