Job Description
The Application Developer works with stakeholders to examine the unique needs and concerns of the project to develop best practices for data collection, tracking and storage. The program primarily uses 3 main tools; SharePoint, Jira and ALM.
SharePoint:
SharePoint is the repository for the management, development and storing of project information. It is intended to serve as a controlled environment for shared access to both working documents and documents of record. It provides various project teams with a collaborative environment for information and document sharing. SharePoint also provides a central access point for announcements and calendars.
Maintain user accounts
Maintains and develops lists, libraries, new fields, workflows and drop down values
Support document management
Develop customize screens, fields and workflows
Monitor system flow, data usage and performance
Troubleshoot problems and develop resolutions
Jira:
Jira is used to capture Production issues (PIMS), Issues, Risks, Change Requests, Technical requests, MDM Action items and Issues.
Maintain user accounts
Maintains and develops projects and issues
Maintain and develop workflows to support business process
Monitors for security issues and develops and tests resolutions
Adds new fields and drop down values
Troubleshoot problems and develop resolutions
Evaluates Jira plugins to support business process
Extracts as needed
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with all of the following: Jira or Jira interfacing preferred, SharePoint 2010, 2013, and Cloud – strongly preferred and ALM a plus, Production experience, deployment and management of internet and extranets, company portals and departmental websites on SharePoint
5+ years project experience implementing SharePoint 2013 solutions, as well as content management solutions that focus on workflow management, document archiving, strategies for web-focused business teams and stakeholders
Experience with Active Directory, web single sign-on (SSO) OAuth and related technologies
Self-starter with excellent verbal, written, presentation, organization, analytical and technical skills
