JOB DESCRIPTION
Monitor and maintain customer application hosted on Windows Server operating system and additional server components including Active Directory
Create, test and schedule PowerShell scripts for application health monitoring, backups of folders, server login alerts/password checks and schedule those through Autosys
Should be able to create PowerShell scripts to automate regular chores and real time status on resource availability, and monitoring statuses, folder usage etc.
Monitor and review system logs, detect and trouble shoot problems
Ability to learn new areas, Micro Focus and support in monitoring of Micro Focus activity
Write technical documentation on created scripts and procedures
Demonstrate in day-to-day work adherence
Resolve customer satisfaction issues and respond on-time to customer queries
Work efficiently with no or minimal guidance
Flexible to support non traditional work hours for on call support and resolution
Good Analytical and communication skills with right professional attitude.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor’s Degree or master’s degree in the field of Computer Science or Information Systems or a related field.
