Overview
St. Jude is anticipating the need for a Senior UX Strategist position later this summer. The Senior UX Strategist is part of the newly created Digital Experience Team at St. Jude. The Senior UX Strategist partners with clients to optimize their web site by helping them define business objectives and goals, which are then combined with best practices for web design and user experience. The position is responsible for user testing, A/B testing, and leads in the development of detailed strategy documentation including personas, user journeys, competitive analysis, and information architecture.
The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills and the ability to achieve results through influence and persuasion supported by data and metrics. Recommendations will be communicated with world class researchers, clinicians and physicians in group settings and one-on-one meetings. A customer-focused and collaborative approach, as well as a strong desire to learn and stay up-to-date with current UX methods is required.

Minimum Education
Bachelor degree in a related field is required
Masters degree preferred
Minimum Experience
Five (5) years of experience developing comprehensive, integrated client strategies is required
Experience conducting user research including online surveys and focus groups is required
Expertise in web content best practices, information architecture, usability, search engine optimization, web accessibility and web metrics is required
Experience generating information architecture and user interface designs is required
Experience with all types of digital platforms, including mobile, tablet and responsive web design is strongly preferred
Strong written and verbal communication skills are strongly preferred
Strong knowledge of web content management systems (SharePoint and Adobe AEM preferred)
Experience in scientific/healthcare settings and knowledge of science is a preferred
