Job Description:
Design & program new web site pages and application functionality meeting mobile responsive web site best practices and Federal Section 508 and CA State laws.
Must be able to establish and maintain cooperative working relationships with others.
Must communicate effectively both verbally and in writing with a variety of audience types using different mechanisms including informal updates, formal presentations, business case documents, and other analytical and technical documents.
Must have a minimum five (5) years of experience developing enterprise web application using MVC frameworks.
Must have a minimum five (5) years of experience working with PHP and PHP based frameworks (Any of these jQuery, Bootstrap, Laravel, CodeIgniter, Symfony, Zend, Phalcon, CakePHP, Yii, FuelPHP, Akelos, Prado, Solar, Seagull, Fuse, AjaxAC, Phocoa, Limb, Zoop, BlueShoes, Qcodo, Recess, PHPDevShell
Must have a minimum of five (5) years of experience developing, maintaining and enhancing complex and innovative programs using XML, CSS, HTML and advance JavaScript and CSS frameworks like jQuery, Bootstrap, etc.
Must have a minimum of five (5) years of experience developing Section 508 ADA complaint web sites and/or applications compliant with CA State and Federal laws
Must have a minimum of five (2) years of experience developing cross-browser, responsive and mobile friendly web sites
Must have a minimum of five (2) years of experience developing progressive web applications and utilizing Progressive Web Apps (PWA) best practices.
Must have a minimum of five (5) years of experience with databases like Oracle, MS SQL, and MySQL
Must have a minimum of five (5) years of experience developing single page web applications (SPA) using HTML, CSS and JavaScript frameworks such as Angular or React
Must have a minimum of five (5) years of experience with Clear Case, Clear Quest, JIRA, Bitbucket or similar configuration tools
Must have a minimum of two (2) years of experience with tools associated with Continue Integration tools like Jenkins, Bamboo, GitLab CI and their plugins
Must have a minimum of two (2) years of mobile development experience on iOS platform
Must have a minimum of two (2) years knowledge and experience using performance tuning techniques in writing SQL.
PROJECT SCOPE/TASKS
Design & program new web site pages and application functionality meeting mobile responsive web site best practices and Federal Section 508 and CA State laws.
Design & program consumers between the Front-End client and back end services, applications, and servers.
Provide knowledge transfer and collaborate with State staff on design and development as a team to deliver the solutions meeting business and technical requirements.
Ensure security, performance, and compatibility of programming artifacts meet legal and State Government Client’s best practices and standards.
