Senior Office 365 Consultant
San Diego, CA
Fulltime - Direct Hire

Requirements
Must be an IT ninja with a consultative mindset
Multi-faceted skill set with the ability to blend technologies in order to provide solutions and responses to technological challenges
Must be willing and able to travel throughout Southern California & occasionally outside the state of California
8+ years of experience working with Microsoft core server platforms (Windows, Active Directory, Group Policies, Hyper-V, Exchange)
3+ years of experience working with one or more of Microsoft Office 365’s services – Exchange, SharePoint/OneDrive, Skype for Business, or Yammer
Experience with public cloud technologies (e.g. Microsoft Azure, Amazon Web Services)
Proven design, planning, implementation and migration experience with Microsoft Active Directory 2003, 2008 R2 and 2012 R2 required
Proven design, planning, implementation and migration experience with Microsoft Exchange 2003, 2007, 2010, 2013 and Office365 migrations required
Experience with migrations from competing messaging solutions such as Novell GroupWise or Lotus Notes to Microsoft Exchange a plus
Experience with 3rd party migration tools such as Quest Software or Binary Tree a plus
Experience with other messaging solutions such as anti-virus/anti-spam appliances and or applications, archiving solutions or cloud solutions a plus
Self-sufficient with the capability to lead both short and long term projects with minimal oversight
Able to quickly and efficiently move through technical road blocks and technical issues by leveraging alternative options with client and working with vendor support.

Responsibilities Include
Developing Customer Relationships and working to forge strong relationships and trust with clients
Performing on-site assessments and infrastructure analysis
Creating implementation designs based on client needs
Serve as a senior level consultant on Office 365 solutions
Serve as a senior level consultant with a focus on Microsoft enterprise Active Directory and Exchange infrastructure designs, implementations and migrations
Responsible for providing clients full support during a project’s lifecycle including establishing technical and business requirements, justifications, developing technical designs, and creating detailed project plans
Working in conjunction with project managers to ensure a smooth deployment
Performing Knowledge Transfer including training and documentation
Supporting existing and new deployments
Ongoing technical support

Teamwork Responsibilities include
Remaining up to date on the latest trends and technologies as they are released
Leveraging team resources and in turn being a supporting member of the Datacenter Management and Cloud Services team. The strength of our team lies upon each of the team members.
Constant feedback and collaboration with sales team, project management team, architects and other consultants
Participating in team meetings
Knowledge sharing (email, phone, etc…)
