JOB OVERVIEW
There are currently more than 5 active projects that require a seasoned Project Manager. Potentially, work on any projects approved by the client, will be assigned to the selected Project Manager.
· KANA Upgrade
· Audit Logging for ASMT DB
· Consolidate Code Repository
· BRUTUS System Enhancements
· DB2 zOS 12 Upgrade
· Process project requests
The candidate will be required to perform the following for each active project assigned:
· Incorporate assigned projects into the Agile Project Management methodology
· Obtain proper resources commitments from resource managers for the projects
· Complete work breakdowns for the requested scope of the project and document in Workfront
· Complete roadmaps/timelines
· Complete status reports, may include reports directly to steering committees
· Document risks, issues and decisions for the project and escalate any project blockers to management
· Prepare presentations on the project status for groups of management if requested.
For this role, the client is looking for a resource that has strong skills in the following:
· Communication skills
· Experience with agile project management methodologies (Scrum & Kanban)
· Experience with project management tools (Workfront)
· Knowledge of the PMBOK
· Knowledge of Information Technology.
EXPERIENCE / SKILLS REQUIREMENT:
10+ years of experience with IT Project Management, and as an IT Project Manager.
5+ years of experience with Agile Project Management methodologies.
