Job Description:
Collaboratively develop clean code and deliver clinical software as a service (SaaS) products in a Lean/Agile environment
Work with product owners and QA to clarify requirements/specs and create automated integration and unit tests (BDD, TDD)
Conduct database and query optimizations
Support Operations and Service Delivery teams in delivering solutions and troubleshooting problems in production deployments
Committed to continuous improvement
Required Technical and Professional Expertise:
BA/BS in computer science or directly related field or equivalent experience
6 or more years of increasing technical knowledge and growth
Significant engineering and craftsmanship background focused on delivering value
Competent at Test Driven Development
Have developed substantial production systems delivered on the web
Strong software design skills
1 or more years of functional programming in Scala
Proficient in HTML5, CSS and JavaScript or TypeScript
Proficient in Java 8
Knowledge of RDBMS systems (Oracle, Postgres)
Team-focused
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Preferred Technical and Professional Experience:
Team-leadership including directing day to day work of other developers
Experience with leading team initiatives or design
Experience in functional programming
Experience in web technologies and frameworks (Angular, TypeScript, Jersey, JSON, XML)
Multiple design paradigms (Object-Oriented, DDD, Functional Programming, SOA)
