Position Summary:
Our client is seeking a Salesforce Developer to work within the Sales & Marketing Technology team to design, develop and enhance key components of the Salesforce application. This technical hands-on position requires proven development skills, excellent communication skills, problem solving ability, critical thinking, and a commitment to quality deliverables.

Develop high-quality and scalable application logic with Apex, Lightning Components, & Visualforce
Provide day-to-day support maintenance & configurations while working to establish and implement best practices with regards to release management and strong data integrity
Develop custom applications using Salesforce and integrate Salesforce with other cloud based and on-premise systems
Create ad hoc reporting requests or analysis on timely basis for business users and/or management
Perform technical problem assessment and task resolution

Experience Required:
5+ years’ experience developing Salesforce including out-of-the-box functionality and configuration along with Apex, Visualforce, Salesforce APIs, and SOQL/SOSL
Experience in Agile/Scrum development methodology
Proven ability to independently develop, prototype, test, implement, document and update as it relates to Salesforce
Detailed knowledge of Salesforce architecture (Classic & Lightning User Interface)
Salesforce Certifications preferred (Salesforce Certified Administrator, Salesforce Certified Platform Developer I and Developer II)
Strong understanding of Salesforce administration, configuration, & development – custom objects, Lightning Components, Visualforce pages, Apex, reports, data validation, workflows, SOQL/SOSL and understanding of object-oriented design
Experience with Java or JavaScript, HTML, CSS, XML, and JSON
Experience developing on the Salesforce mobile platform
Experience creating dashboards with Salesforce Einstein Analytics

Excellent conceptualization, analytical, and logic skills enabling comprehension and development of complex technical and business issues, topics, and plans
Leader and role model comfortable working as an individual contributor and as a member of a team, across diverse organizations
Excellent communications skills, with the ability to work with business users as well as other members of the technical staff
Must be self-directed and motivated
