Description:
Will work with other programmers and project managers and assist with design, development and maintenance of complex SQL queries and stored procedures. This person will also assist junior programmers in trouble shooting and resolving complex issues using SQL server 2008 until the upgrade to 2016.
Responsibilities and skill requirements include, but are not limited to:
5-7 years of recent SQL server database design and development experience.
Must be able to demonstrate knowledge of T-SQL advanced features.
Development of SQL data queries, stored procedures, and other objects.
SQL reporting services experience is preferred.
Experience with performance tuning new and existing stored procedures.
Working closely with staff such as business analysts, project managers, customer service staff, other programmers, operations staff, plan administrative staff, etc.; Implementing new software into a production environment via our agreed upon change control processes.
Involvement in upgrading to SQL 2016 experience is a plus.
Should be self-directed and able to work with minimum supervision.
