Job Description :
We are currently engaged with a client who is seeking a SQL Database Administrator on a full time direct employee basis. In this role, the SQL Database Administrator will:
Furnish SQL Database Administration, development, code review and deployment.
Perform administration and maintenance of existing MS SQL databases in a .NET Business Intelligence environment.
Provide troubleshooting and performance monitoring of internal SQL Databases.
Review current development and deployment strategies. Develop automated deployment processes and create strategic database projects.
Perform design and development of complete integration solutions for various business lines.
Perform some SQL development and assist in troubleshooting performance issues.
The appropriate individual will have demonstrated experience in the following:
Enterprise SQL Database Administration and Database Management that includes monitoring, optimization, performance monitoring and tuning and integration.
Performance Tuning and Optimization (PTO), using native monitoring and troubleshooting tools. Implementation of operational automation utilizing a range of scripting tools.
Cloud based and or Azure SQL Database environments.
Development or DevOp environments that include .NET, Visual Studio Database Projects, creation, management and deployment of new code.
