Required Skills and Experience:
Must have experience and/or knowledge on Cloud Operations. Extensive experience working in Data Center Operations teams
Must have experience on Kubernetes platform operations (RedHat OpenShift preferred)
Must have 5+ years of hands on experience working with large scale VMware, Windows and Unix Server environments.
Demonstrate expertise with systems administration in a VMware and Windows environment with substantial knowledge of the vSphere 5.x ,5,5 and 6.0, SRM 6.1 , vROPS.
Working knowledge of SDDC ( Software Defined Storage and Storage Defined Network and HCI ( Hyper Converged ) platforms.
Extensive experience in multiple operating systems - Windows ( 2016), LINUX ( SUSE, RHEL) . Able to troubleshoot OS related issues.
Experience with Puppet , DELL VxRAIL , Storage technologies is preferable.
Experience with scripting - ESXcli, PowerShell, perl etc.
Must be able to demonstrate strategic planning experience and have a deep understanding of enterprise deployment strategies for VMware and its relevant technologies.
Ability to automate common and repeatable tasks/processes
Must be able to work independently on multiple concurrent tasks in a highly dynamic environment with strong customer service skills, teaming skills and the ability to collaborate within a cross functional teams.
