Position Description/Responsibilities:
Computer Aid, incorporated a leader in IT services and solutions has an immediate opening for an experienced SAP Functional Analyst to work with one of its major manufacturing clients in the Lehigh Valley, PA market.
POSITION DESCRIPTION:

The SAP Functional Analyst is responsible for requirements definition, application analysis and functional design of new solutions. A critical component of this role is to effectively work with the Air Products business area so that new/enhanced functionality and application changes can be implemented effectively. Another key responsibility of this position will be product and lifecycle management for SAP, SAP-integrated and non-SAP service areas.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Performs configuration analysis for SAP Finance modules.
Resolves complex business requirements via SAP configured solutions.
Participates in all project stages with accountability for eliciting, validating and documenting business requirements which ensure “value-add” to the client.
Creates a testing strategy and ensuring all functionality is tested prior to production deployment.
Works with Change and Release Management team to ensure representation and coordination of the project throughout the change and release process.
Works closely with the PM to ensure successful completion of project deliverables.
Provides product/life cycle, vendor and contract management for supported applications.
Continuously drives excellence in the areas of optimizing services and work processes, improving quality and reliability and lowering total costs.

Position Requirements/Technical Skills:
Bachelor’s degree in technical discipline such as computer science or engineering, or equivalent work experience.
Up to 5+ years IT or business experience, with a focus on requirements analysis preferred.
Demonstrated experience with related business activities within their functional expertise.
Strong problem solving and teamwork skills.
Able to work with minimal supervision.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Strong presentation skills and ability to lead workshops.
Strong vendor relationship and product management skills.
General understanding of Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL) service delivery methodology.
Working knowledge of SAP and the integration points with other SAP modules and non-SAP systems.
