SAP BW and HANA solutions, per requirements of project assigned, which will likely be for Integrated Supply Chain SAP BW-HANA solutions. This will include data ingestion into BW and/or HANA from SAP ECC and other systems, development of BW entities and HANA views per prescribed standards.
Conduct requirement-gathering workshops with business users to understand their reporting and analytics needs and translate into BRD (Business Requirement Document
Functional design, level-of-effort estimates, and scope documents for each project per prescribed standards.
Documented and approved technical design before construction work begins. Design will include analysis of existing BW and HANA data models to determine reusability of existing content for the new business requirements.
Detailed Solution design walkthrough with business IT teams.
Analysis of existing BW data models, reports and understand corresponding ECC and BW Data to find out fitment & gaps for new reporting requirements.
Testing of results against requirements. This will include regression testing of all changes; full unit and integration test for all newly created objects. Deliverables will include test plans and test results.
Promotion of approved solutions to production.
Setting up proper security to the new solution.
Setting up automation of BW data loads through AutoSys.
Enable consumption of reporting and analytics solutions in front-end reporting tools like Analysis Office, Tableau, Power BI, and Webi.
Hyper-care for solutions deployed and knowledge transfer to internal production support team.
