Job Descripition :
The ideal candidate will be able to demonstrate the delivery of automation tooling and frameworks through technical and team leadership effectively to both functional and cross organization teams
Minimum of 4+ years of progressive test automation experience
Act as a trusted advisor that understands broader enterprise automation architecture to assess and provide cross platform, cross tooling automation solutions that can span our development delivery models
Works collaboratively with other departments to understand deliverable objectives, gather automation requirements, design automated tests, troubleshoot issues, and implement scalable test automation solutions
Drive forward innovation and help deliver cutting edge test automation through your expertise in commercial and open source tools to support automation across Agile / SAFe practices
Ability to integrate validation solutions for test data, environment and applications with varied architecture
Perform assessments for developing solutions and proposals to improvise automation strategy and implementation
Advanced experience with driving test automation with other engineers, new team members and apply technical expertise to automation quality engineering
Communicate and coordinate and align the automation strategy with the engineering team members, make recommendations to improve reliability, performance, best practices and processes
Experience with Agile/SAFe Software Development Principles
Strong skills in multi-tier architecture and digital technologies
Experience/knowledge with CI/CD BACKGROUND/EXPERIENCE
Required Skills :
Expertise in delivery of test automation solutions over various platforms – Rest/SOAP service, Client Server and Web apps. Hybrid and Native Mobile Apps
Experience in scripting with C# scripting language
Experience in implementing automation framework for Behavior Driven(BDD), Test Driven(TDD), Project Object Model(POM), Page Factory, Data Driven, Keyword Driven and Hybrid
Experience/Knowledge in test frameworks and tools - Cucumber / SpecFlow, Gherkin, RestSharp, JSON, XML, JDBC, Selenium, Selenium Grid, Extent Report, CSS, Git, NUnit
Well versed in working with Microsoft based IDEs - Visual Studio (2015 onwards)
Experience writing basic to intermediate SQL queries and understanding of SQL database objects
Preferred Skills :
Able to write Directive Component, Functional, Integration and Regression test cases / scenarios from the analysis of requirements documents / acceptance criteria of User stories
Expertise in Test Estimation, Planning, Test Cases / Scenario Preparation, Execution and Defect Mgmt.
Strong Analytical, Technical, and Problem solving skills
Excellent written & verbal communication and organizational skills
