SCOPE OF SERVICES :
This Expert Data Quality Assurance Lead (QA Lead) position is crucial to ensure data quality in the data flow process in the Data Warehouse, by which raw data go through an entity resolution process and are fed into the Customer Relationship Management (CRM) software. In addition, the QA Lead will be responsible for administering the Azure Development Platform. The QA Lead will:

Work closely under the direction of the Project Manager with stakeholders.
Defines data quality test strategy and test plan in collaboration with project stakeholders.
Designs, creates and maintains test data as needed to support data quality testing.
Authors high level data quality test documentation including flows within the documentation to demonstrate test approach and proposed paths through the system.
Produces data quality test results and analysis.
Maintains test plan documentation as project progresses and works with project team stakeholders to get signoff on plan as well as to educate project stakeholders on data quality test requirements, plans and status.
Participates in the analysis of requirements and specifications necessary to create data flow models.
Collaborates with project Technical Project Manager and QA Director in developing and maintaining documentation describing test scope and test schedules.
Authors custom test scripts in a variety of languages e.g. python, shell, perl for automated execution of tests against ETL and scribe processes.
Assists with devising and executing scripts on Azure Platform

Job Description :
At least 5 years of overall development experience.
Programming experience and ability to program in Object Oriented or Procedural Languages is a must.
Strong knowledge and ability to create complex SQL queries and work with SQL editors
Ability to work with and validate Data Dictionaries
Experience with testing ETL processing with Informatica and data validation.
Experience in performance test of back end systems
Must be able to understand requirements and translate them into test cases
Ability to create quality assurance plans based on the analysis of design documents and requirements, Create and execute test cases, log and assign defects and keep track of the defect status
Hands-on experience using tools like XML Spy or similar, Perfmon
Understanding of QA and general SDLC documenting process
Understanding of the purpose of the test management tools and experience of using popular test management system like Quality Center
Understanding of a variety of programming languages, architectures, and standards (e.g., .Net, n-tier architecture, service oriented architecture)
Fundamentals of Microsoft Dynamics CRM and Web Services
Must be able to see tasks through to completion with minimal guidance
Ability to work independently in time sensitive environment and be fully responsible for work results
Excellent oral and written communication skills and the ability to clearly articulate to all project members and stakeholders; must be a team player who works well with technical and non-technical resources

Desirable Skill/Expertise :
A Bachelors or Master’s degree in MIS, Computer Science, or equivalent experience is desired;
Knowledge of Scribe Insight.
Experience with formal SDLCs and business analysis methodologies; Working knowledge of business analysis documentation standards;
Knowledge of Azure Architecture components
Azure Development experience
